Day Camp! Cyanotypes

Cyanotype with Found Objects on Fabric
Learn the basics of the photographic process by harnessing light from the sun and discovering new uses for found objects! In this day long camp we will go on a neighborhood walk to collect materials for our cyanotype prints on fabric, and create new patterns using plants, twigs, and other repurposed materials. Students will leave with their own individual cyanotype exposed fabric.

MAC Day Camp classes combine the best of both worlds - a rigorous studio practice with a dedication to having fun. In each class campers learn new art making skills while creating multiple artworks to be taken home at the end of  the week - but not before mounting a mini exhibit of their work for friends and family to enjoy on the last day of camp!

Camps run from 9am-3pm with plenty of time for campers to learn new studio skills and make their own artwork. 1 day Day Camps are $50. Each camp is suitable for children ages 6-12, with some exceptions possible. Each camp includes materials, snack, and water.
