Spring Independent Studio

Independent Studio is our After School program that is designed for students ages 9+ who are interested in a more rigorous self-guided studio practice. This programs is geared for art students who wish to learn about any concept, medium, or subject matter they choose, but in a structured studio setting.

Students in Independent Studio will work with a Teaching Artist who will give them guidance in creating their own Tool Kits needed to build a body of work. The goal of the program is to create a Portfolio that represents the mini-artist's ability to create art both using a variety of mediums and techniques, as well as their ability to expand one idea into a series of work. They will have the opportunity to exhibit their works (and even sell them!) at the end of the semester.
